Welcome to the Chassanim program. Classes are led by Rabbi Avrohom Hirsh Levin, who will be joined by an array of Rabbanim, Mashpiim, and other professionals in fields related to marriage, finances and Sholom Bayis. Prepare yourself for your wedding and beyond! Classes are informative, relevant, and interactive. Join us and build your lives together on firm footing.
This is a monumental time in your life, a short window of transition from your previous life to the rest of your life. And it’s filled with appointments, tasks and so many other small things that keep you busy.
The most important thing you can do right now is to ensure that your home will be built on firm ground, a foundation of holiness and purity.
We understand the pressure, the tight schedules and the anxiety that Chassanim go through during these weeks.
Our Chassan Classes course is designed for you to cover the necessary material in just four days, leaving you free to review it properly and arrange everything else before the wedding.
The course was created in coordination with Taharas Habayis (under the Crown Heights Beis Din) as well as Tahareinu and Shalom Task Force.
The primary halachah and hashkafah components of Taharas Hamishpacha will be taught by Rabbi Avraham Hirsh Levin of Morristown, N.J., an experienced and popular Chassan teacher who has guided hundreds of couples to the chuppah.
After completing this course, you will be well prepared to establish a Chassidishe home based on the timeless values of Torah. You will also learn some of the practical aspects of running a home beyond the Halachos, including finances and Shalom Bayis.
Class cohorts will be held each month at Lemaan Yildmedu’s Brooklyn center.
The texts used will be supplied to the students in Lemaan Yilmedu’s exclusive English-language textbook. Classes will be interactive and accompanied by multimedia slides for added clarity.
