The laws of kashrus are the most common laws in our daily lives which is why it is particularly important to learn them thoroughly, to know what to do and how to handle a question that arises.

Fifty years ago, the Rebbe launched Mivtza Kashrus, sparking a worldwide transformation in Jewish life. Today, thanks to the dedication of kosher organizations, educators, and communities, kosher food is accessible in nearly every corner of the globe — enabling frum families, baalei teshuvah, and countless others to maintain a kosher home and eat according to halacha.
But keeping kosher properly requires more than simply looking for a reliable hechsher. Understanding the halachos behind the food we eat is essential for anyone who wants to confidently maintain a kosher home and make the right decisions in everyday situations.
From purchasing food and checking ingredients to using a kitchen, dealing with mixtures, and handling unexpected situations, questions of Hilchos Kashrus arise constantly. Many times, practical decisions need to be made quickly — sometimes without immediate access to a Rav. A solid foundation in Hilchos Kashrus gives you the knowledge and confidence to recognize these situations and know how to respond according to halacha.
That’s why we’ve developed a comprehensive Hilchos Kashrus learning program — designed for anyone who wants to gain a clear, practical understanding of the halachos of kashrus and confidently apply them in real-life situations.
Classes are accompanied by summarized booklets with clear diagrams and visual aids, as well as English translations of source texts for easy reference. Classes are recorded and accessible at your convenience, making it easy to keep up no matter your schedule.
Whether you want to strengthen your knowledge of Hilchos Kashrus, gain a deeper understanding of the food you bring into your home, or simply become more confident in applying the halachos of kashrus in everyday life, this course will give you the knowledge and practical understanding you need to keep kosher with greater clarity and confidence.
The learning will focus on the practical but will include learning from the Shulchan Aruch in order to get down the basics and gain an understanding of the halacha in the best possible way.
