Have you always wanted to study the laws of Shabbos in depth, in a clear and comprehensive way, directly from the Shulchan Aruch? Now is your opportunity! Machon Lemaan Yilmedu is launching a new in-depth Hilchos Shabbos course with Rabbi Tuvia Kassimov, guiding you through the halachos from the Tur and Beis Yosef, through the Shulchan Aruch, all the way to the rulings of the Acharonim.

There is no need to elaborate on the great importance of studying Hilchos Shabbos; it’s obvious. Shabbos arrives every week and it affects many details, including matters that are unavoidable, such as cooking, muktza, borer, and many more.
However, it seems that at times, specifically because ofthe breadth of the subject and because of the complexity of the halachos ingeneral—and especially in their application in the modern world—there is difficulty in studying Hilchos Shabbos in an organized and in-depth way directly from the Shulchan Aruch and its commentaries.
If you too have wanted for years to study Hilchos Shabbos in depth but have not succeeded, this course is for you.
This course is an opportunity to study Hilchos Shabbos thoroughly, from the original sources—beginning with the Tur and the Beis Yosef, through the Shulchan Aruch, and up to contemporary halachic authorities who address practical questions in the modern world.
The shiurim are given by Rabbi Tuvia Kasimov, a Rav and moreh tzedek in Crown Heights, known for his exceptional clarity of explanation and his broad knowledge—both in the classic halachic sources and in practical rulings—making him uniquely suited to teach Hilchos Shabbos in depth.
The course will go through all of Hilchos Shabbos studied from the original sources of the Tur, Beis Yosef, Shulchan Aruch and Nosei Kelim.
Rabbi Kasimov's knowledge is extensive, his Shiurim and presentation are excellent, and his focus on the practical and Halacha L'maaseh makes it all relevant and enjoyable. I would encourage any Shliach that wants to expand his knowledge in Torah and Halacha, to utilize this incredible resource, where you could learn from the comfort of your office, with professional materials and outstanding Shiurim. This is the opportunity you have been waiting for.
Learning with Rabbi Kasimov has been incredible. In addition to his tremendous fluency in the halachos, he is extremely warm and caring, and takes a personal interest. He answers every shailo with patience and sensitivity. Rabbi Kasimov is a gem.
Learning with Rabbi Kasimov has made all the difference. He teaches with clarity, care to make sure the students understand, commitment to the students, and passion for Torah and teaching. Rabbi Kasimov makes himself available as well to answer questions constantly. Thank you to Rabbi Kasimov, I have learned parts of Torah that always seemed Untouchable.
