Machon Limud Halacha Tested by Rabbi Braun
After three months of intensive study, the talmidim of Machon Limud Halacha - Lemaan Yilmedu passed the first test in the semicha program. It was held by a member of the Machon's vaad ha'semicha, Rabbi Yosef Yeshaya Braun, mara d'asra and member of the Crown Heights Badatz.
270 Graduate Lemaan Yilmedu’s Halacha Courses
500 people participated in the impressive “Chag Ha’Semicha” event which took place last week in Oholei Torah’s hall in Crown Heights. Certificates were given out to 270 students who successfully completed the curriculum on 8 tracks.

This year-long offering from Lemaan Yilmedu will provide you with the tools, training and certification to be a Sofer Stam. Taught by Rabbi Chaim Pape, a skilled Sofer, students will study the theory of Safrus in Keses Hasofer and the Alter Rebbe's Shulchan Aruch alongside intensive practical training.
